Grr. The search function isn't working for me. I can't go past the 1st page of results. (I've done it several times, cleared my cache and have done everything I can think of to get it to work, and it just won't let me see further results.)

Anyway, on to my topic, the other day, I was looking at crumb coat stuff and someone suggested melting buttercream and pouring it over the cake for a crumb coat. I was wondering about specifics with it, like how much do I pour, how long do I melt it in the microwave, and any other tips you could give. Thanks for helping me out!

EEk...I"ve never done it that way, and that would be scary!! I would just use a thinner buttercream and just spread it on a very thin.
