i'm making a birthday cake for this weekend that has a gumpaste plaque that needs attatched to the side of the cake. its about 2"tall by 6" wide. does anyone know what the best way to attatch it to fondant is? i was thinking royal icing, but i'm not sure if it would soften the fondant and it would fall off.
any help would be greatly appreciated!
thanks
Julie

Just brush the back of the plaque w/water (OR egg white) and stick it on. If you have royal on hand that would work too. No, it won't soften the fondant or fall off icon_smile.gif

Thanks Kakeladi!

The royal icing worked perfectly. Even in 93 degree weather!

Here's how it turned out icon_smile.gif
