How do I make this cake does anyone have instructions? a picture? I read about it on the wilton site but they have no info on it. Would really appreciate it.

Could you describe it? I have no idea what you're talking about. Or maybe a link to where you saw it on Wilton?

Its called a crazy quilt cake. I keep reading about it in the wilton forum but its from "04" and I can't get any info on it. I have someone who is interested in a quilt cake. By the way I LOVE the original Strawberry Shortcake; I had the doll when I was little boy it smelled good.

I googled Crazy Quilt Cake and got several pictures. I think this one shows it best:

That looks cute. I think my mom's friend's would really get a kick out of it. You could just do various patches of fondant (which would give it dimension) and then paint on details and make fondant buttons, etc. And pipe on RI stitches.

Or you could (painter's) tape off sections and airbrush different colors in.
