Need Help Pricing A Cake.!!!!!!!!

hey everyone, this is my first time here and i don't know if i'm in the right place. i need to price a 2 tier fondant covered cake or a 2 tier butter cream cake for a baby shower but i don't have any idea of how much i should charge.... can anyone help?

Pricing depends on where you live. I live in a small town and charge $2 per serving for buttercream with basic decorations and would charge $2.50-$3 for fondant covered. Check out the serving chart at this link.

Sit down and figure out what it costs you to make your cakes.. and then charge enough so you make a decent profit.

I live in a small town too.. I am in New Hampshire. I would charge $4.50/serv buttercream and $5.50/serving fondant depending on the decorations.

I live outside of Richmond, VA and I charge $2.25/per serving for buttercream and $3.75/per serving for fondant
