Freesing Top Layer Of Cake

I have never been asked this before so I didn't know the answer. Can you freeze the top layer of the wedding cake if it is covered in fondant?

yes. It needs to be carefully wrapped for storage, and thawed in the wrappings in the fridge. Most of any condensation will form on the wrapping.
