I've used a brush with my decorations before but I've always wanted to do a whole cake with brush embroidery icon_biggrin.gif
Hope you like it!

Thanks so much for this, I've never tried this technique but now you've insipired me. But WOWWWWWWWW you are faster than a speeding bullet!!! Once it went back to normal speed, it looked kind of slow though ha ha
When you do the technique, do you dip the brush in water to start off?
Thanks,
Jenny

I love the humor in all your videos. It humanizes them. Some of them are just so stiff, you know? Like the stick just can't get far enough up there. You'd think they were trying to program you.

The collar at the top of the cake - beautiful idea. Wish I had thought of it.

Where'd you get the music for this one? Sounds like something from the Mikado.

Another great video. Thanks so much for sharing all of them with us.

Nope, no need for water, just the dry brush icon_biggrin.gif

I've heard of people doing this and pretty well got the concept, but it is so nice to actually see it being done. thank you so much for the video. do you use the same frosting for frosting and embroidery or do you make a thinner frosting for the embroidery?

Cool Video. I can see why you need new brushes. Are they catching on fire from you going so fast? icon_biggrin.gif

Question though what kind of BC is on the cake?

Thanks,

Mike

playingwithsugar-thank you! I know, I don't like the blah's in how-to videos, it makes them so boring!
The music is actually something from hubby's collection, not sure where he heard it but we have a good selection of Vanessa Mae, she's an amazing musician.

Thank you everyone!!
Auryn, you can clean and re-use, I just rubbed the brush on a paper towel to clean it off when I went to do the leaves.
