If anyone has a favorite cake with scroll work, either your own or someone elses, would you please post me a pic or a link? I love to do them, but am finding myself doing the same designs.
Thanks, needing fresh inspiration!

I've never attempted scrolls before but if you use the search tool and type in scroll, scrolls, or scrollwork you'll have a bunch of pictures from the galleries pop up...

here are some examples from the galleries...

My favorite was whichever CCer had a cake disaster and she had made a sheetcake to match.......they were GORGEOUS!! The swirls looks like a template, they were so perfect....gosh, I can't remeber her name but that is by far my favorite scrolled cake!

Hey, thanks for posting one of mine Sweetpea! I do tend to get a lot of requests for swirls or scrolls or whatever you call them! You can look at my pics and see a few. Hope it helps.

The one CakeDiva is talking about was posted by the lady who's business name is "Tina's Sugar Shack" - let me see if I can find her screen name. I like that one, too... and here's another one from a friend's wedding. Sorry, I don't know the name of the bakery that did the cake.

It was KHalstead.. here's the disaster link http://forum.cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-ftopict-591133.html
