I am doing a castle cake for an outside party and I do not know if I should cover the cake with fondant or just do buttercream. The party is at 530 but it is supposed to be around 84 degrees at that time in the evening. Will the fondant sag? Will the icing melt off of the cake? Can you gals please give me some advice.

Thanks

The fondant should be fine, it stands up well in the heat.
