Which Gumpaste Is Better...

...Wilton's pre-made or their gumpaste mix in the large can that you just add water to?

Of the two, I prefer the ready to use. It is a bit more white, and save a bit of time. It does often need a bit of shortening to make it more pliable and not sticky.

I haven't ever seen the premade but that dry stuff in the can is uuugggggggg icon_sad.gif

I have used the Wilton ready-to-use many times and I quite like it. It's very easy to use and works well. Never used the mix - too lazy!

I prefer ready to use also...or nick lodges recipe. I typically buy satin ice gumpaste which is pretty good but stays kind of soft in the middle
