Has anyone used the mini tier cake pan? I have one and have used it before, but the cake never comes out right. I'm doing one for a smash cake this weekend and was wondering if anyone has any tips for me on baking a perfect one.
How much batter?
Cook at what degrees?
For how long?
What kind of cake is best?
Anything would help
I have one and make sure you coat it really good i use the wilton cake release, also fill it almost to the top maybe a inch below it, and i bake it like a cupcake do a test first with a cake tester Hope this helps you have to level it i use my left over cake batter and freeze them. 325 degrees
What is a cake tester? Should I use a pound cake mix?
A cake tester is a little wire that has a grip on the end to hold it by you can also use spaghetti to stick into the cake, and reg cake mix does good i have some left when i bake and i just put it in the mini cake pan and bake it like a cup cake my pan is about 3 to 4 in high
