Does anyone have a good moistening syrup recipe? And also, how much do you put on an 8 inch cake?
I think there is a recipe for it in the recipes page. I just use 1 cup sugar to 1 cup water and bring to a boil. boil for several minutes till all sugar is disolved, then cool in the fridge. Add your extract or flavoring. Just brush it on your cake till the top is saturated, but don't soak the cake through. I just eyeball it, so I can't tell you an exact amount that you would use, sorry.
