Hi all. I have another newbie question. icon_redface.gif I have read in several replys here talking about adding the "final layer of BC". I was wondering if anybody could explain this to me. Is is standard practice to add more than one layer of BC?? If so, how is this done. Or am I just confusing this with the crumb coating? I love getting advice from all you guys!

TIA,
Jen

I think in general, we are talking about the crumb coat and then the 'final' layer.

Once in a blue moon, I will put a third layer of icing on a cake, but only if I go in the next day and see some bare or bad spots that need covered.
