Sorry if this was discussed before, I couldn't find a thread.

I have been having the worst luck lately with my powered sugar, I buy name brands, Dominos or Dixie Crystal, but even with sifting it my icing is ending up with sugar lumps in it and they don't break down. I was wondering it anyone else has been having this problem or has a solution. I live in Fla so I suppose the humidity could be a problem.

The last two batches of ps that I bought from my local bulk store have been the same. It hasn't been as humid as usual here, so I don't know why it's happening. The last bag I brought home felt almost like a bag of marbles. It sifted OK, though, and was fine to use.
