I'm new to gumpaste and haven't taken any classes (except Edna's You Tube calla lily video - awesome! thumbs_up.gif ), but I want to learn how to make gumpaste flowers. Any recommendations on good step-by-step books? Prefer color pictures cause I'm a visual learner icon_razz.gif I have an anniversary cake in November that needs orchids on it, so I need to get good, fast icon_biggrin.gif

Alan Dunn has some really great books on flowers. Also Nicholas Lodge is great.

I'm also looking for some good guide books. Does Nicholas Lodge have books or just DVDs. I happened to go to his store in Atlanta and had a blast...but didn't see books, I may have been too jazzed with the cutters and other toys and didn't notice them icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanks Jo-Ann, I will check it out. I'll check at my local store and if they have it (more than likely not) my sil lives in Atlanta and she can pick it up for me.
