Morning Everyone

I'm making this cake for a party tomorrow and I have a questions, do I need to put wooden dowels in the top cake and the original cake owners said that she use a loaf pan for the top.. Isn't a loaf pan, one of those smaller pans to make bread in??

If your base cake is more than 2-3 inches high then yes I would dowel it. A loaf pan is usually used for breads they're probably about 4x8. HTH
