Hi,
How long in advance can I frost with IMBC and does it have to be refrigerated?
TIA

Although I've read where some people feel ok leaving IMBC out a day or so in a very cool place, I never ever leave it out. I believe it's meant to be refrigerated. IMBC lasts in the fridge up to 8 days. It freezes well and is good for...hm, I don't remember, I think it's 3 months.

I recently made cupcakes which I iced in IMBC and then froze for 4 days (more to keep the cake its freshest), defrosted before serving. Scrumptious and the IMBC looked the same as the day I piped it.

You're most welcome. If you haven't made IMBC before, here Here are a few of my favorite IMBC threads. Lots of great info about preparing, flavoring, smoothing and decorating with it.
