Hi, I am making a guitar cake...its pretty large. I would like to know if anyone has put different layers next to each other(which I'm sure you have)..how do you join them...after joining them I will be covering the cake in fondant and I don't want any indentions...

When I do cakes that need to be joined I ice each end and then join the ends. I do this after I have torted and put the icing in between the layers. I have never had them move on my and you don't see it once you ice the cake.
