I'm currently working with a client who wants a bulldog cake. We've been working together for some time on this project. She has made a decision on what we've seen that she likes the most.

I'm attaching the picture and I'm going to guess it's not has hard as it looks. Meaning wouldn't this pretty much be easily formed around a frame with rice crispies then covered in fondant?

I was going to put it on a 10" double layer filled cake. My question now is how in the world do I charge for something like this. They've already purchased a wedding cake from me.

Is the $6 ballpark out of the question on this or am I under pricing myself?

Any suggestions as to the construction of the bulldog are greatly appreciated as well as any advice on how to appropriately handle the pricing issue.

Thanks!
LL

Do you mean 6.00 per serving? I would say absolutely, I am sure more experienced people will weigh in on this, but I think you could charge even more than that! That is a lot of work and I think even the most talented fondant/crispy sculptor would take a long time to make it and get it right!

Super cute, you will have to post pics for us!

Smiles,

Val
