How far in advance can you make them so they are still fresh tasting? I am having a party next Thurs night and wanted to see how far I can make them. I would like to make them over the weekend but didn't know how that would turn out.
They will be fine if you cook them on the weekend, just seal them in a ziplock bag so the air doesn't get to them. I have cookies I baked two weeks ago that I'm making sample displays(not for eating) but my hubby keeps eating them saying they taste as fresh as the day I baked them.

What about cookies I baked 2 weeks ago, froze, and must thaw and ice in 2 more weeks. Will they be fresh and not soggy?
