A Question For The Pie Makers Out There

I have a crust question. If you use shortening to make the crust can you use butter flavoring to give it a better taste?

Also if you have any tips for making pies I would appreciate it. Thanks!

I always use half butter, half shortening to better the taste.

You can add butter flavor, or use butter flavored shortening also.

I do like Bijoudelanuit--half butter and half shortening always.
