Hi. I recently make my wedding anniversry cake & it was the first time that I used pearls. I used gum glue to attach the pearls. You can also use royal icing. HTH icon_smile.gif

I use royal icing - it's like cement for fondant!

I store my fondant covered cakes in the fridge over night, pull them out in the morning and let them sit for an hour.. then add the pearls to the cake. The condensation makes them stick like glue. I guess if you didn't use the condensation you could just use water.... but I use the homemade pearls so that might make a difference.. Sorry, hope that helps!
