I have a cake order for a military cake and this person wants fondant. I want to know if its possible to make camoflauge colors out of fondant if so how? because the cakes I've seen were done out of icing. This person wants a half sheet cake and I was thinking of charging $160. Is that a good price or do I need to go higher?

I'm not really sure, but I think if you were to color pieces of fondant in greens and browns maybe you could put them together and roll out. I don't know if that makes sense.lol. do you have an airbrush? if so, then you couls airbrush the fondant after it is on the cake. sorry, don't know how much to charge icon_redface.gif

That's what I would do. I would color some fondant several camo shades and then vary the colors in a single layer and roll out until smooth. Not sure how the seams will work on rolling out but I would think that would be the way to go.

I dont' know the exact dimensions of a 1/2 sheet. I just go by 11x15 or 12x18". I charge $70 for my 12x18.
