So here is my first shower cake, I am so excited about it. Usually I can pick apart every little thing that is wrong with my cakes but not this one! Was just looking for some opinions on it, or anything I might do better next time! Thanks to all of you for everything I learn from you everyday, I never would have been brave enough to do this if I didn't have you!!!!!!

It's really a beautiful cake--very nice and clean decorating.

But, please, tell me that you used the flower spikes to put the roses in the cake? Sorry, I just have issues with flowers that are stuck directly into a cake.

Hi everyone! Thanks for the compliments! I am still excited about this cake! LOL!
Mac, I wasn't sure about the flowers stuck directly into the cake either so I took each one, cut off the stem and put it on a bamboo skewer and wired the baby's breath to it then stuck that into the cake. Thanks again guys!

Flawless! Considering it's white fondant, and simply decorated, you still got it flawless. thumbs_up.gif
