I was wondering..what kind of cakes are the best for decorating?
Is it simple white cakes or pund cakes?
Hmmm....interesting question. I think it depends on what you want to do exactly. For instance, pound cakes are heavier/denser and easier to carve, IMHO. Anyone else?
Many, many of us use all kinds of flavors of for cakes that are decorated.
If you are covering it w/fondant you migfht want to consider a pound cake OR the WASC recipe.
