The bride wants something similar to this in red, black and white (I suggested black ribbon with red flowers. However, how do I handle the topper part? Do I offer to do it or do I have her do it? How would you handle that part? I quoted her my base price of $2 a serving for buttercream but said that I couldn't give her a firm quote until I saw what she wanted. She wants black, white and red with pearls. That was pretty much her only stipulation. One of the pictures she likes is this one....

So, first question, how do I handle the topper. Should I offer to take care of the topper and charge extra, or let her do it herself?

TIA!

If it these will be real flowers I would consider having her florist put it together. I am currently doing a topper out of Fimo and a regretting the offer as it is taking away from my caking time ! If you do make it go online and find comparable prices then figure you cost for product and labor.
