I made white chocolate cupcakes with blueberries and it tastes really good except that I think I overdid the almond extract. It's very prominent.
I haven't frosted them yet and I was wondering what I can use in the frosting to cut the almond flavor a little? It's a little overpowering. I like it, actually, but I don't know if the rest of the people who will eat the cupcakes would.

help? icon_sad.gif

Another assertive flavor will tame the almond.

I suggest orange or lemon curd...

orange/almond/blueberry
lemon/almond blueberry

Hmmm I think I have some orange extract left.

I figured citrus would cut it. needed someone to convince me. I will frost them tomorrow and will let you know. thanks so much for responding so fast! icon_biggrin.gif
