I'm trying desperately to make a beer bucket cake out of styrofoam for the state fair. I CANNOT get the fondant to wrap around it. My fondant keeps getting dry as I'm rolling it out, my arms hurt, my hands hurt.... and each time I try to get it on the styrofoam, it rips and tears. I think maybe it's a little too thin....

I've just added some crisco-type stuff to moisten it b/c it kept getting dry.... but can anyone help me with wrapping around a cake vs. "over" it?

I think I would try laying the form on its side onto the fondant, then rolling the form up inside the fondant. A straight seam up the side can be hidden to some extent.
