I have a quick question.. can you do a "liquid" or "Poured" fondant from already made fondant (i.e. Satin Ice)?
It is rumored to work, but I haven't tried it. Take a small amount and give it a whirl, not much to lose. If you don't have extra cake, just pour it over a small bowl or something.

How would I go by "Melting" it..??
I wanted to try it on cupcakes...
I think I would put a small amount in the microwave, for brief spurts until it melts. Let it cool to avoid being burned, then pour it.
