Humidity Affects Crusting?

Does high humidity affect the ability for a frosting to crust?

I used the same recipe I always do but it just stayed soft and never did crust.

*sigh* It's the most aggravating thing about caking in the summer, humidity definitely affects buttercream! I usually just add less liquid and that takes care of it icon_smile.gif
