Shouldn't you ask the 2 sisters what they want??

maybe you should ask them what they want...however if they said do whatever, than I would make two cakes one for each of them so they can have to take pics and cut. The cakes could compliment each other in color and design...hth

I agree that you should talk to them to see what their ideas are.

Im doing my first wedding in September and its for 2 sisters that are having a double wedding. They have 2 cakes, same design (stacked, covered in white fondant, black satin ribbon, cascading red roses) . The only difference is that one is round, one is square.

Even the flavors are the same, marble! they are having a black and white wedding so i think it will look pretty cool!!!!

Good luck !!!

mariela, I think we may have the same sisters. lol

They told me that they didn't care. Maybe 1 or 2 cakes. Marble cake with bc. Red roses maybe. I like the idea of the 2 cakes one square and one round.

Thanks for the ideas.

I think we do!!! lol I've never done a wedding cake, and have only worked with fondant a couple of times, so I am really glad it isn't a complicated design!

But Im friends with one of the brides so she trusts me. Im so excited!

Give us an update on your wedding I will definitely (sp?) give mine!
