Crusting Buttercream With Smbc Inside?

I am doing an all BC wedding cake next month and was wondering if it would be okay to do a crusting BC on the outside of the cake to look pretty and then SMBC in the middle b/c it tastes good icon_wink.gif This is my first wedding cake so I am still learning all of this stuff. TIA!

Well, I'm certainly no expert, but I have used SMBC as the filling and crusting BC as the icing and it tasted just fine together. Good luck!
