Do those who use SPS reuse them? Also, someone was talking about having to cover up the edges with piping or something else...does ribbon work to do that?

TIA!

SPS can be reused for a couple of times. It really is made to be dispoable. Just build it in to the cost of your cake. I charge a $20 equipment fee and that covers it. The cardboard edges are more unsightly than the edges of the SPS plates.

leah are you putting the cakes directly on the plates then icing them? I was doing that and then read in another thread that you were supposed to put the cardboard on the plate and "poke" it through that tiny spoke in the middle.

Sounds like you need my instruction sheet. icon_smile.gif

The cake goes on the cardboard and the cardboard goes on the plate. And yes, you use the plate to poke a hole in the cardboard.
