I have a customer requesting a tres leches cake decorated like a golf putting green. My immediate thought is that the tres leches is to gooey for this type of decoration. Has anyone ever had any luck decorating tres leches with buttercream? Would this even taste good? Help!!

I decorate mine with Rich's Bettercream, I highly recommend this instead of buttercream.
