I have a cake request for funfetti--anyone used anything creatively from your cabinets to recreate them...or do I make the trip for a box of funfetti? I don't have any jimmies but I do have sprinkles....
I'd be interested to see what ideas are out there. When I have a funfetti request (and I color match the wedding colors for the bride), I order it from my cake supply store, who the CK Products brand (in Fort Wayne, Ind.)
If you dont' have a local cake supply shop and if you have time to order, here's the page from CK: http://countrykitchensa.com/catalog/SearchResults.aspx?description=jimmies&page=-1
thanks! so, i should pick up some jimmies and that will work?
HEre's the pics of the funfetti cake I made for a bride that had Granny-Smith-Apple-Green and pink as her wedding colors: http://www.cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=1156785
I would just use round sprinkles/jimmies, personally....
