I need to make chocolate fondant tonight and the recipe calls for corn syrup which I cannot obtain easily.
Is there a substitute for it or are the recipes on the internet any good as a substitute?
In addition is corn syrup thick or running? The one I saw on Jennifers DVD looked runny..... In Aust we generally use glucose syrup to substitute but it is really thick and when I made the batch of chocolate fondant it didnt seem to mix really well despite how much I kneaded it.
Can someone help please
Do you have Lyle's Golden Syrup down there? I bet it would work well.
