I was wondering if anyone ever has used the Michele's Fosters fondant recipe to cover a cake. I have used it to make figures but have not covered a cake with it. I was just wondering how much cake one recipe covered. I would like to use it to cover an upcoming wedding cake and I want to make sure that I make enough. Here is a link to the recipe if anyone wants to make an educated guess. icon_smile.gif TIA!

Here is a link that JanH gave me because I too wanted to know how much fondant for a wedding cake. http://forum.cakecentral.com/c.....9182-.html You will have to make a batch and weigh it to find out exactly. I believe it is approx. 2 1/2 lbs.

Try this link: http://www.earlenescakes.com/Fondantchart.html

I don't know how much the Michele Foster recipe makes, but my MMF recipe makes 2 1/2-3 lbs. Hope that helps!
