This is my first time using the SPS. While assembling the cakes (10, 8, 6) following Leahs wonderful step by step instructions, I got to the part that said use a smear of bc on the plate before adding the cake.

So I decided that using my hot glue gun would be even tighter hold. This caused my top cake to have a gap between the plate and cake circle.

Do you think this will still be stable enough to travel? Its on pretty tight but I certainly don't want it to tilt.

Well, it travelled beautifully. Not a single move. I'm so relieved to find something that I don't have to worry about.
