We took a 2 week vacation traveled to Kentucky to see 2 friends, over to North Carolina to see 4 friends, down to Atlanta Georgia to see a friend, then we hit Alabama to see his mom. WOW we hadn't been down there in 8 years and the last time was at Christmas so I've never felt the weather at it's hot time. I bow to all of you that can make a cake in this weather!! As I was melting I kept thinking of all the wedding cakes that were out there melting just like me. After we left his moms house we went to Arkansas to pick up our grandson... it was even HOTTER there! We had the air on full blast drank ton's of water, my daughter asked if I was a camel *giggle* when we picked him up he was freezing from the air conditioner so we had him a blankie. It was quite a vacation. It's taken him a week to get used to Michigan weather a little chilly morn & night but warm in between.
