Hi all. I need some help. I will be making a wedding cake next weekend. It will be 3 seperate round cakes. One cake the bride wants is a carrot cake with cream cheese icing. She wants a band of mmf or gumpaste around the bottom of the cake. Plus flowers made of mmf or gumpaste. Will these be ok on cream cheese icing?

They should be just fine. Keep in mind, the cream cheese icing may not be the same color as the icing on the other tiers...unless, the others are going to be cream cheese icing as well.

I never thought about the color of the icing. Thank you for mentioning that and for your help with the fondant.

This cake also included a carrot cake with cr/ch icing tier...

I mentioned the option of a fondant covering to the parents of the groom(they were doing the ordering and paying), and they quickly decided to go with the entire cake being covered. So, maybe you could run it by your b2b?
