I need help with the recipe for a pecan cake. It was the most delicious cake and it had an unusual cream cheese icing which also had pecans in it. I have someone wanting it for their wedding cake, but we can't get the lady to give up her recipe. Can anyone help?

I have a really easy and delicious Butter Pecan Cake recipe if that's what you're looking for.

I crush and add Pralined Pecans to Duncan Hines Butter Yellow Cake mix. The heat of the oven melts the candied glaze off the pecans and it mixes with the cake while it's cooking.

It's soooooooooo good. And so easy! Everyone I've served it to loves it!

Not sure if you wanted a Butter Pecan cake or just a pecan cake, but here you go just in case!

I will try that one if I don't get one for just Pecan Cake--this was very moist and full of small pieces of chopped pecan and then the icing was cream cheese with lemon in it and more chopped pecans. Thanks!
