I have a few sites/ sources saved/on hand that are great for giving amounts of icing/filling/batter etc for different sizes and shapes of cakes, but I'm wondering if there is a similar such chart or source for cupcakes? I need to know how much BC to make for approx. 120 regular sized cupcakes- I know it would depend on how one decorates them lol, they're for my sister's wedding and will be using the IM tip. And since I'm making the BC here and freezing it, and bringing it on the plane (don't know anyone in Ottawa with a stand mixer), I need to know how much to bring, and I don't really want to make a whole whack too much and pay extra baggage fees lol.
Any idea or sources or links would be appreciated. TIA and happy baking!

Karen

When I use the 1M I use probably close to 6 cups of icing for 2 dozen. This is a recipe using 2lbs of powder sugar. Of course this depends on the size and amount of icing you put on your cupcakes.

Do you have time to make a batch of cupcakes and icing and see how far it goes for you?
