I bought one of her new books (Easy Party Cakes) and she recommends using her cake recipe so that the cake can withstand sculpting and 3D shaped cakes. I am making a cute cake for my husband to take to work and I don't want to make her recipe if it isn't that tasty. Has anyone ever used her cake recipe?

What recipe do you all use for carving cakes???

Thanks a bunch!

No body in my family liked her recipe. Very dry. I like using the wasc or the durable cake recipe.

Thank you! I am just headed out to the store and I will pass on picking up her ingredients. I'll stick with WASC.

THANK YOU A TON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
