I've seen different types of dusting powders and there are just so many!

I do love petal dusts, pearl dusts, and luster dusts.

What are the colors should I always have? Should I just get the basic ones? Do I really need all the colors? I'm in the Philippines so I can only order online. Dusting powders are so hard to find here and I'd rather order online so I could get what I really need. I would like to keep stocks of these because I really think they make your cakes look beautiful!

Can you help me, pleasE? Thanks and God bless!

it really depends what you plan to do with them. if your doing alot of flowers i would definitly get a resonable selection as they are so good for shading and making realistic flowers. otherwise i would just get your basic colors (primary/secondary etc) and blend them to create different shades. you can blend them by sprinking on baking paper and and grinding/smooshing with a palette knife. hth
