You poor think you must be so stressed.. one hour huh?...Sometimes if I have excess corn starch or sugar I'll rub the fondant with a brand new dry sponge... It sees to help... Also, maybe you're rolling your fondant too thin that might be why it's tearing when you put it on...happenes to me all the time, as for the wrinkles, I try to roll mine on a mat then use the mat to flip it on to the cake to avoid as many wrinkles as possible then smooth with the fondant paddles... icon_smile.gif Good luck hun....

I agree with muddpuppy on all - and it helps to rub the fondant with a small piece of leftover fondant to help remove the cornstarch - I just read that on another post this week - and it does help. Just rub lightly so it doesn't stick and mess up your cake.
