ok so I watch ace of cakes alot and i often notice that in addition to airbrushing, they use brushes to paint on colors on the cakes. for instance, on the episode with the liberty blueprint book they did a beautiful portrait of two presidents. I wanted to know what i can use to paint on a cake. Is there an alternative to airbrush colors? possibly something with food coloring? help!

You can use food color mixed with vodka(or other clear alcohol) to help it dry faster.
