I am torn between Fat Daddio's and Magic Line cake pans.

Does anyone use either of these pans currently and why?

Also, does the sides of the cake still stick, as they do with the basic heavy weight aluminum pan?

Thanks in advance,

cakeymom

I love Fat Daddio's! I have all of them imcluding Wilton, and FD's just are more sturdy to me. As for the sticking I always use pan spread so I never have a prob (and parchment for the bottom)

I use magic line. They are more readily available and work great.

I have used the FD 9x13x3 and 12x16x3 with cake release and I haven't had any problems.

Fat Daddio and Wilton. Easiest things available to me and I use the homemade release, never had an issue with sticking.

I use Magic Line... they work great, and I can find them locally without having to pay (and wait) for shipping.

I have Magic Line, Fat Daddio, and Pfeil & Holing (similar to ML), and I love them all. You do have to bake at a cooler temp with the FD, but it's worth it for the great shapes that are available!

I have Magic Line pans and they are wonderful icon_smile.gif

I do want a Fat Daddio pan or two because they have some great shapes - but I'll stick to ML's for my rounds and squares.
