I'm making a pool party cake for a very special family and I want to make water out of piping gel but I've never done it before and was hoping someone could tell me how. Also any other advice/tips/ideas for a pool party cake would be greatly appreciated.

I just finished a cake with a waterfall made with piping gel today. It's super easy. Just add color to the piping gel and stir until it's all mixed in. Then you can either put the gel in a piping bag and pipe it directly on the cake or use a spatula to spread it. Nothing to it!
