Cookies N Cream Filling With Imbc

hello, i have a recipe for cookies n cream filling that calls for it to be mixed with whip cream, because of the heat I can't. I don't use american buttercream, can it be mixed with imbc and hold up? Has anyone tried this?

I would think so. What temperature will the cake be at?

room temp in home. then travel two hours in car.
