What a great idea...a forum totally about cupcakes!!!! I LOVE it!!! thumbs_up.gif

I have 2 questions:

1 - how do I stop my cupcake tops from being sticky? This has not been an issue up until now as I have always put BC on top so it covers the stickyness (sp??) but I am making a batch of the awesome hamburger cupcakes I have see on here for a family event tomorrow nigth so I won't be putting any icing on the top at all... icon_cry.gif

2 - can I use Pam to spray the cupcake pan when I am not using liners?

Thanks in advance for the help icon_biggrin.gif

do you bake from scratch?

I have not had sticky cc top problems are they a bit undercooked?

You can prepare thepan the same way you'd prepare a cake pan if not using liners.

Hi Cupcakmkr!

I have used the WASC recipe in the past but would use a scratch recipe if it was less sticky. I have found that they are fine on the day that I bake them but the next day they are really sticky and kinda gross to touch.

As for preparing the pan...I was hoping to not have to use the butter and flour method only because of lazyness!!!

Thanks!

I use Baker's Joy in my pans and absolutely love it!
