What is the typical size pearl used on tiered wedding cakes? These are the ones between the tiers.

Really, what you want or whatever you have designed. I generally buy the 8 mm.

Yea, depends on what size the cake will be.

You can make your own easily, Earlene's website has easy directions.

I made a bunch a long time ago (just make sure that your fondant is all the same thickness before making your circles) and after they dry and you toss them with shimmer dust or whatever you want to do with them, they will last forever in a sealed container. They're great to have on hand and so easy to do.

When I made the ones for my sister's wedding cake, I used the large round end of a decorating tip to cut it out. Then I followed Earlene's directions. Super easy! Just really time-consuming!
